Social Network Marketing Jobs

Have you heard any of these?

* A guy who works part time for an update of his team Eagles report on the situation by saying something to the effect that the Eagles suck because of a trade they made. Eagles fired.

* Women get a job at Cisco. She tweets "got a job offer from Cisco. Now you must decide between a fatty before a long journey and I hate job. "A channel partner of Cisco voice on Twitter and comments. I have not heard that but I was pretty sure Cisco withdrew the job offer. (And most likely she will have a heck of a time finding another job because this story was all over the place such a degree that is a time to remove Google.)

* A guy who I think owns the travel agency at the headquarters of one of its main clients for a presentation of (ironically, the social networking). The tweet tweets a little positive about the city is the headquarters of his client. Employees of the site, please call him on it and he ultimately lost the account.

I am sure there are more of these stories, but you get my point. Social networks can provide credibility, visibility, leads and can help grow your business. Also you can lose jobs and customers.

So what these stories have in common? Simple – the person forgot to social networks are public.

And this is the point of the article today. What is the social network is public.

Now, I know that sounds obvious, but like most obvious things that are happening ignored. It is easy to see why. That is, half the time (or more) do not get answers to things you do on Twitter or Facebook. So it's easy to start thinking about looking at anyone.

And when has a slip and no one is watching, nobody cares, when the bite there. Think you can tell what you want, and you do. Only to discover much to their dismay that people are really paying attention.

The one that makes social networking as a tool for networking, it can ruin the same thing. Remember, your greatest strength is its greater weakness. And this is true here also. The power of social networks should get his name back in the door can also replicate its unfortunate choice of tweets or messages in a big way and ruin your reputation faster than you can say "tweet tweet or not to."

Now, I'm not saying you should run for social networks. This is not about you whining about every comment, Tweet, post, etc. you put here. It about being smart. It never forget you're dealing in a public place and people are paying attention, even if there are days when you wonder where all that was the love of social networking.

And if you do the leg and say something that has not? Well, depending on what exactly that was, may have done some damage control, and / or just an arm fighting game that you put a black spot on his reputation and had to do some cleaning. You again, might not be easy or fun, but need not be the end of the world either.
